2022 infiniti q50 vs 2022 acura tlx

2022 infiniti q50 vs 2022 acura tlx

The 2022 Infiniti Q50 and the 2022 Acura TLX are both popular, affordable luxury sedans that can be a great addition to your driveway. Both cars offer style and comfort, but which one is right for you?

Engine

Engine

The 2022 Infiniti Q50, Ottawa edition has an available twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 option that produces 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The Acura TLX only offers a turbocharged 2.0-litre I4 option that produces 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. This makes the Q50 better in terms of power.

Infotainment

Infotainment

The Infiniti Q50's infotainment system uses innovative voice recognition technology, allowing you to use voice commands to adjust your vehicle's settings or access its navigation system. Standard features include a 7-inch touch screen with Bluetooth and HD Radio. Available upgrades include a larger 8-inch touch screen, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, and wireless device charging.

The Acura TLX has a similar infotainment system with some key upgrades. It's available with a 10.2-inch touch screen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration, and Wi-Fi hot spot capability. However, it doesn't offer as many physical controls as the Q50 system. You'll have to rely on the touch screen for most functions, which can be distracting when you're driving.

Comfort

Comfort

The 2022 Infiniti Q50 offers a wealth of comfort features to ensure your journey is as comfortable as possible. These include:

  • Heated front seats can be adjusted for 12-way power on the driver's side and 4-way power on the passenger side.
  • Dual-zone automatic temperature control allows both the driver and passenger to set different temperatures for their comfort.
  • Remote start allows you to start your car before you get in, so the vehicle is comfortable when you get in.
  • Leather seats are soft and luxurious and help you stay warm in cold weather.

The 2022 Acura TLX also has excellent comfort features, but it does not offer heated seats or remote start. If those options are important to you (like they are for us), then Infiniti Q50 is your best bet!

Safety Features

Both offer many features that will keep you safe on the road. But when it comes to safety, the Q50 outperforms the TLX in several important ways.

Both come standard with excellent safety equipment for starters, including forward collision warning, emergency braking, and lane departure warning; however, the Q50 gives you more options in this area than the TLX. For instance, while both provide you with rear parking sensors and a rear-view camera, only the Q50 offers front parking sensors.

The Q50 also offers a 360-degree parking camera system, which is unavailable on any trim level of the TLX. Also, while both can be equipped with adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability, only the Q50 gives you an optional system that can steer itself back into your lane if it detects that you're drifting out without using your turn signal.

Conclusion

Conclusion

In conclusion, the Infiniti Q50 is more advanced than the Acura TLX. It has an edge when it comes to interior comfort and quality. If you're looking for something to keep you comfortable during your daily commute, you cannot look beyond the Q50.
