what is the difference between 2022 nissan armada and infiniti qx80?

The 2022 Infiniti QX80 has received a welcome design upgrade. This vehicle is already a desirable SUV with a luxury badge that commands respect and now sports even better infotainment options and a host of luxury features. It doesn’t matter if you’re going to opt for the entry-level Luxe version – it’ll still deliver a sophisticated SUV experience.

The 2022 Nissan Armada also offers some great luxury features, including a smooth ride and a great engine. The top-of-the-range models have some impressive luxury features. The 2022 Armada is a great car – but it hasn’t received a comprehensive update since the last model.

The 2022 Infiniti QX80 sports a 400-hp, 5.6-litre V-8 under the hood. And “sports” is right. It does 0 to 60 mph in 5.9 seconds, which is very acceptable for a large SUV. The engine, paired with the seven-speed automatic transmission, delivers smooth power. The QX80 delivers 413 lb-ft of torque and can haul 8,500 lbs while providing an exceptionally serene and smooth driving experience. Drivers can opt for rear-wheel or all-wheel drive.

When it comes to the powertrain, Armada drivers are in the same boat as QX80 buyers. There’s the 5.6-litre V-8 paired with a civilized seven-speed automatic transmission. It’s a great engine. You get that superior hauling power and a well-behaved independent suspension that delivers a smooth, quiet ride.

The 2022 Infiniti QX80 receives a new touchscreen and new controls to improve the functionality of the air-conditioning system. The cabin is incredibly spacious, and that third row is always a pleasure. Second-row captain’s seats can be swapped out for a bench seat. To say that cargo space is generous is an understatement.

The infotainment system features a 12.3-inch touchscreen with proprietary connectivity and navigation, Android Auto and AppleCarplay. The 13-speaker Bose setup, four USB outlets and wireless charging station add to the attraction.

The Armada offers some attractive interior materials and can comfortably seat eight (captain’s chairs in the second row reduce that to seven). The third row offers power-folding seats. Those willing to spend a bit more on the Platinum model will get open-pore wood and quilted seats. A 12.3-Inch touchscreen with navigation, SiriusXM, Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless smartphone charging are all standard. Spend more and get 13-speaker Bose sound and rear-seat 8.0-inch screens.

Canadian drivers in Ottawa can expect to pay between $81,695 and $89,695 for the 2022 Infiniti QX80 and between $69,198 and $76,698 for the Armada, both price ranges depend on the model.
